She won the fight through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes after the start of the round. This was the first women to compete to win a title in any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas had several successful fights after this win, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. This earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.

Edwards was cast as Nicole Avant in the TV soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Reign was perfect for the role and became a household name in her performance. Edwards has also appeared on the show Hell Fest 2018, along with several TV shows. The actress was the main character on the TV show The Wilds, and she will be in the film Love You Anyway. Reign was nominated three times for Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger actor in a Drama Series in 2017 and 2018. The awards were bestowed upon her for the role she played as Nicole Avant Forester in The Bold and the Beautiful. Her character is set to win an award.
